Press Release CopyProgression Event for learners to understand opportunitiesFilton College are holding a Progression Event for current learners highlighting options for the next academic year.The purpose of the event is to help those learners who have not thought about what they would like to do after their course finishes. The event will house stands with both employers and academic opportunities on show including: Connexions, University of the West of England, NHS Blood and Transplant, Apprenticeships.org, and the Volunteer Centres, all of which will cover all areas of progression. Careers Advisers will also be hosting a stand to help learners with course progression, and job search skills. There will be experts on hand with information on Higher Education, advice on CVs, covering letters, application forms, and interview techniques. Additionally, informing students on what Bristol has to offer and where to find jobs and training opportunities. The event will be held on Tuesday 25th May from 9.30am-13.30pm, on the main Filton College campus.
